Presenting at MLK Library and DC History Conference (about Hybrid Wayfinding)

The Playful City Lab team presented our hybrid wayfinding research at the DC History Conference located at the glorious reimagined central library in downtown Washington, DC, on April 2nd.

Photographed here with our poster and a visitor at the conference:

Bloomingdale Resident Scott Roberts, Ph.D. Student Tambra Stevenson, and Benjamin Stokes.

Our research poster highlighted the work in the community of Pennsylvania Avenue East located in DC’s Ward 7.

Benjamin Stokes speaking with DC History Conference participant at the MLK Library.

We tried to amplify local history and the voices of residents in our work, including by being visible on social media and including videos of residents recruited with the Humanities Truck.
